Overgrown bridleway.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4825193.

Busy bridleway overgrown. Some patches have been trimmed back but others not and it’s getting impassable. This is the bridleway between west carr road and Ellingham road that runs along the a11. There is also broken glass in one area from a previous car accident. Bridleway used by horses, cyclists, runners, dog walkers, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and prams.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the overgrown vegetation on the bridle path adjacent to the A1 at Attleborough. I appreciate you taking the time to report this.

    We carry out regular inspections of our roads and cut back trees and vegetation where we find that it’s limiting visibility of road signs, traffic signals, at junctions or the view ahead.

    I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team. They will inspect the area and if necessary, arrange for the vegetation to be cut. Kind regards National Highways
