I have just queued for over 25 minutes from 0.75 miles away from J12 (getting off from the South) and have witnessed many cars dangerously slowing to a stop in the first lane with HGV's bearing down on them (th queue to get off being on the hard shoulder).
This junction is a fatality waiting to happen at the best of times in rush hour, but whoever changed the light timings needs sacking. Green for about 5 seconds. Uttelry ridiculous. Please resolve before something serious happens!

Please look into this, this is putting so many road users at risk. Lights only green for a few seconds meaning massive tailbacks on the hard shoulder.

Thank you for making your report. We're aware of this issue. The traffic lights were damaged causing issues with the syncing. We've been out and changed the lights to a fixed timer rather than the above ground radar detection until a repair can be carried out.
Kind regards
