Litter left behind by your workmen

Reported via mobile in the Main Carriageway (NH) category anonymously at 11:11, Sun 23 July 2023

Sent to National Highways 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4815795.

Your workmen repaired a fence on top of motorway wall alongside Ferngrove Bury West Side of m66 .but failed to remove the old fence which is strewn all over the footpath on Ferngrove west with nails still attached presenting a real danger to pedestrians who might stand on the old fencing panels. This is not the first time of reporting as I have spoken to someone when I phoned up to report and still no reply. I think its ridiculous that our children walking along a footpath strewn with wood with nails sticking up. I would like it removed or I'll take it higher. Why your workmen couldn't takethe old wood away is beyond me. I'm also reporting more lats have fell off the fence with a big hole that children might get through to enter the motorway. But please tell your workmen to remove the old fence and not put more on the footpath. Thank you I await your reply .John
