Fixing up SOS area all growth is blocking SOS telephone ALL overgrown!

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4814224.

This SOS area is full with weeds and plants grass is growing out the structures of keeping landscape growing out of it there is muck everywhere on the path. were not keeping the A1 coalhouse to metro centre safe there is dangerous stuff along here.

    We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. We are currently engaged in the delivery of the second Road Investment Strategy (2020-2025) with a commitment to deliver significant investment to improve the Strategic Road Network in the north-east. We have recently completed capacity enhancements between A1 Scotswood and North Brunton and we are currently delivering similar capacity enhancements between A1 Birtley and Coal House. We are also continuing to develop and deliver a comprehensive programme of network renewals and upgrades.
