Pedestrian crossing lights are no longer working

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 08:48, Mon 17 July 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4793670.

Pedestrian lights are not working, which means there isn't a safe way to cross the A38 at this point.

Updates

  • Crossing lights are turning red every minute with no person or accompanied animal crossing. This is causing traffic to back on A38.

  • The lights are turning red and no one is using the crossing. This is causing a long tail back on the A38, way passed Bodmin Parkway m!

  • This happens every Monday.. these lights should be permanently Green unless someone randomly wants to cross. Can this please be sorted. The traffic coming from the A38 towards Bodmin backs up and causes delays.

  • The traffic lights are continually cycling between red, orange and green. This is the third time in the past 2 weeks that this has happened in the morning. It is causing very long tail backs adding on at least 20 minutes.
