Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4788279.

On a sliproad of a motorway so when you heading toward J64 Make 2 lanes turn of the at the A1(M) SOUTH and make 1 lane go ahead over the bridge to the A1(M) NORTH and add road arrows to, so in lane 1 and 2 add the left arrow to A1(M) (S) and in lane 1 make the straight (ahead) Arrow. (A1(M) (N)

    We are currently engaged in the delivery of the second Road Investment Strategy (2020-2025) with a commitment to deliver significant investment to improve the Strategic Road Network in the north-east. We have recently completed capacity enhancements between A1 Scotswood and North Brunton and we are currently delivering similar capacity enhancements between A1 Birtley and Coal House. We are also continuing to develop and deliver a comprehensive programme of network renewals and upgrades.
