Dear Highways, I am the Estate manager at Hickstead show ground and manage the land West of A23, marked on the map.

We have been undergoing a large ash dieback removal program across our estate. During this I have noticed that there are 4 or 5, very large Ash trees, suffering from Die back outside our boundary on the A23. These trees look to be in the later stages of die back and appear brittle. They are showing signs of already having dropped limbs. The trees overhang the footbath / cycle path and are in close proximity of the dual carriage way.

I am writing to make you aware of the situation. If you require any other info please email me [email removed]
