Timing issue with Traffic Lights

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4777680.

Heavy traffic build up trying to exit Trentham Lakes via the flyover onto the eastbound A50 carriageway. This is due to the lights priority been changed incorrectly and now only stays on green for around 5 seconds but red lasts around 50 seconds. Some vehicles are actually turning around and instead exiting on the westbound exit to the go around sideway roundabout as this is often quicker!

  • Timing is still poor on this light causing huge tailback onto Stanley Matthews Way. Motorist running through on red increasing risk of injury.
