Surface Water

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 22:51, Tue 11 July 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4776809.

The new tarmac that has been put down over recent years is an absolute disaster, every time I travel on these local highways it’s a death trap when even like today on the M66 then the M62 retains water really badly and even like today after it stopped raining the level of rain water was frightening, I’ve noticed it over the past few years and it must have already caused deaths - it’s great when you actually hit a patch of old tarmac that dispersed water effectively especially on a high speed motorway, who is responsible for the decision and deaths that this is responsible for. Would really appreciate a response but I’m happy to show you what a horrible experience this new tarmac is!
