• Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

  Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

• I travelled from Newark towards lincoln last night 4/10/23 at about 2300hrs. I was aware that the A46 was closed at Newark showground because of ongoing roadworks. To avoid this and get to Lincoln as I have done on previous occasions I went through Collingham to rejoin the A46. Not long after crossing past Collingham train station I gave way to two blue lighted police cars. However 2 mins later they then passed me going in the opposite direction. I soon found out why as the road was blocked at Potter Hill Road. No signage to alert anyone that this road was blocked. I passed so many cars having to divert with many clueless as to where to go. If the blue lighted police cars didn't know about the closure what chance do the public stand ? So hope that it wasn't a life threatening situation !!! So, so bad.
