Blocked Drains

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4745540.

The central reservation drains are blocked. Full of soil , traffic cones and other items that have come to rest in the central reservation. These drains need cleaning out and vegetation removing. It is dangerous when raining as the road is not draining off correctly and will cause aqua plaining. This is along a long stretch of the M62 between Leeds and Huddersfield in both directions.

    We've checked and can confirm we now have access to this stretch of carriageway and are undertaking several nights of work to clear the central reserve of detritus and clear the gullies present along the M62 between Leeds and Huddersfield.
