Major event at Norfolk showground Traffic management signs obstructing footway, vegetation obstructing pedestrians. Extremely hazardous

  • Thank you for contacting our Customer Contact Centre about the overgrown vegetation near the A 47 at Dereham Road, Costessey. I appreciate you taking the time to report this.

    We carry out regular inspections of our roads and cut back trees and vegetation where we find that it’s limiting visibility of road signs, traffic signals, at junctions or the view ahead. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team. They will inspect the area and if necessary, arrange for the vegetation to be cut.
