Traffic bollards smashed during recent RTA

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 07:57, Tue 27 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4720131.

The traffic bollards outside the main entrance to Vinehall School were smashed in a recent RTA (Sunday 18 Jun 23) and no longer have reflectors - six need replacing. This is a danger as the entrance lighting was also smashed and there is no demarcation of the entrance / exit from the school.

Updates

  • Our inspector has visited the area, and we're in the process of ordering some new bollards to install. It was noted that some of the others need to be cleans. Jobs have been raise for both of these items to be rectified. We also checked the sight lines into and out of the school, and no safety concern was raised.
