Potential Giant Hogweed next to hard shoulder

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 23:29, Mon 26 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4719815.

M54 West between junctions 4 and 5. Just before and just after the sign indicating 2/3 mile to J5 there is what looks like Giant Hogweed adjacent to the hard shoulder. While fairly safe by position, it is accessible. Difficult to know for sure as I'm not prepared to stop or slow down sufficiently on a motorway to take a closer look. There is also a suspicious looking plant high up on the embankment of the opposite carriageway, about 100 metres east of the location described above.
