Pet to the side of the road on the A47

There is what looks like a dead cat in the "Fast lane" on the A47 eastbound just after the Ringland hills roundabout. It is towards the side of the lane

  • Thank you for your report regarding an animal on the carriageway.

    I appreciate how distressing it can be for our customers to see animal remains lying by the side of the road. We routinely remove such remains when they are found in the live carriageway and always endeavour to repatriate pets if their owners can be identified through microchip implant technology.

    I have passed your report onto our local inspector who will action this accordingly.
