Mix of National Speed Limit Signs and 40 MPH signs

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 07:54, Sat 24 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4710557.

As you enter this road, on one side you have a temporary 40mph sign and on the other side there is a national speed limit sign which is NOT bagged over. It is the same along this stretch of road with one side having 40mph and the other national speed limit signs. If the road is still 40 whilst clearing the site, compound, the national signs need bagging over. There is an average speed camera on this stretch and I would hate for many folk to think it's national and end up with speeding fines due to inconsistent speed signs!
