Pathway overgrown

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 12:49, Fri 23 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4707678.

This pathway has been overgrown and almost unusable for months now.

I use this path to walk to work and walk my dog. This is the only access I have without driving my car.

The tree branches hang down and make this very dangerous. When it rains the tall grass leans over so you have no choice but to walk through it and get soaking wet before you have even got anywhere.

Snakes and other small animals hide in the long grass and are often on the pathway because the long grass is close by. This does not happen when the grass is short.

This pathway is never maintained. Perhaps once a year after a lot of reporting by residents.
