Inadequate drainage close to central reservation Northbound

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4698985.

I was very nearly involved in a serious road accident last night when ploughing into deep surface water, obscured by spray from a lorry. All visibility was lost for several seconds whilst between a lorry and the central reservation.

  • Thank you for your report concerning flooding due to poor drainage.

    We’re aware of the drainage issue. A repair is planned to unblock drains in the area, I currently don't have dates for these works.
