Overhead signs: M42 Jct 3a and onwards through roadworks

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4691212.

Overhead signs are displaying incorrect variable speed limits and lane closures throughout the roadworks for HS2. It is dangerous for overhead signage to display lane closures over the left running lane during the works and to display a different speed limit than the 50mph during road works. It is making it difficult to navigate this stretch with multiple different instructions at once. It would be helpful to turn off the overhead signs except for additional obstruction/lane closure info

Overhead lights showing 2 lanes closed. They are open. Also speed signs reduce from 50 to 30 for about 100 metres then go back to 50

1 ,50mph sign still there after u collected them last night , liads of drivers dont know if its 50 or 70mph. ???
