Dangerously Raised Road Surface

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 16:32, Sat 17 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4684470.

After a previous road surface repair in this spot, a moderate sized (30cm³) 'hump' of tarmac has accumulated on the eastbound carriageway. This has effectively created a 'ramp' like structure, causing vehicles that are unable to avoid it to lose contact between their tyres and the road surface (ie like jumping over a ramp). This may prove to be particularly dangerous for smaller vehicles, more vulnerable road users, such as motorcyclists. Please may this be dealt with the upmost urgency due to it's dangerous nature.
