Japanese Knotweed likely on National Highways land on the banks of the Wye.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4674089.

There is quite extensive Japanese Knotweed and Himalayan Balsam growing on the banks of the River Wye near the A40 at SO527152 / tones.speedily.achieving (What3Words). I believe this is Highways Agency land (Title HE37464)

  • Thank you for your report concerning Japanese Knotweed.

    Our inspector has reviewed this on 26 June. There was no sign of Knotweed at the specified location. The area is covered in ferns and birds nest ferns. Currently there is no action required. You can also email in at info@nationalhighways.co.uk with the location and photos of the Knotweed it it's safe to do so.
