Footpath closed making pedestrian access dangerous

The footpath on the right of the new bridge (when coming from the A533 direction) has been closed for a month now, with no sign of it reopening. The pedestrian access involves crossing a busy road twice, which isn't very safe, especially for any elderly people.
Could you tell me when the footpath will be getting completed and reopened please?
