Signs too close to exit

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4649757.

There are signs on the A30 going from Penzance towards the Newtown roundabout to show that the left lane is for the A30 towards Redruth only. The signs are very close to theexit - can you put additional signs closer to Penzance so that drivers, especially visitors have time to get into the right hand lane - road markings would be useful too. Have seen far too many near misses
