Signage inadequate and missing

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 16:30, Thu 8 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4648004.

There is no visible 50mph speed limit signs when joining the M3 at J4 towards london,

I passed through the National speed limit signs displayed on both sides of the carriageway at the start of the slip road, then proceeded to join the M3 at J4.

Soon after joining the motorway, signage for Lane 1 to be closing in 1000 yards was shown, still no 50mph signs were shown anywhere. After passing the gantry that did not display as change in speed limit, I was flashed by the camera. The only visible 50mph signs after joining at J4 were AFTER the gantry camera, showing 50mph on temporary signs parallel to eachother, indicating the speed limit does not decrease to 50mph until a few hundred Ft AFTER the speed camera.

As well as reporting this unacceptable issue, I will be pursuing any tickets received through the local court.
