Replacement Fencing - wooden posts, not concrete residential boundary between JCT 1 & 2

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 17:28, Wed 7 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4643974.

Could you please explain why the replacement fencing after car accident hit fence on boundary of my residence are wooden rather than concrete which is what the previous ones were? I'm not against them but isn't the material and their settings less secure. I have noticed that the tree from my garden was moved to the motorway side. I had asked for it to be put back in my garden or preferably chopped up for me to use as firewood. Has this job now been closed? if so then I will try to find the means to get the tree trunk back over to my garden.
