1 lane on slip road closed

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4636388.

The right hand lane has been sectioned off so all traffic has to filter into the left lane which is notoriously busier with frequent queues. During busy times this means that traffic exiting the A3 is now blocking the inside lane onto the A3 with tail backs. This is quite a frightening experience & accidents waiting to happen. Also there seems to be no maintenance or works going on. Please rectify this asap. It’s so unnecessarily dangerous.

  • Fully agree with above. It is completely counter productive to close one lane of this exit. It means a queue backing on to A3 which is dangerous. There is no reason for a single lane on this exit.
