Sliproad would benefit from road markings

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 11:26, Mon 5 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4632666.

The Eastbound sliproad at Junction 11 on the M62 is a single lane but splits into two lanes towards the roundabout. There is no left turn so effectively both lanes can be used to go right off the roundabout at the end of the sliproad. However, very few people use the left lane which increases the risk of tailbacks onto the motorway creating a hazardous situation. I think it would help improve the flow of traffic off the sliproad and reduce the risk of a serious accident if both lanes had road markings to show that both lanes can be used to turn right on the roundabout.
