Trees growing in the concrete along the bridge over A 30
Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 14:24, Fri 2 June 2023
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4623839.
There are about twenty tree saplings ( some about 6 feet tall) growing in the cracks along the south side of the bridge crossing the A30 on Shillingford Road, Alphington. The trees are growing quite quickly and I am concerned that the roots are going to damage the bridge, causing bits of concrete to drop down onto the traffic on the A30. I have photos if that is helpful.
