Excessive traffic caused by imbalanced traffic light timings.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4619747.

Heading north on the A1 the traffic lights stayed on green for only 22 seconds, whilst they remained red for more than 3 times longer. This causes excessive delays for the traffic heading North. There must be a better balance to match the flow of traffic. I may even suggest the flow would be better maintained with no traffic lights.

Please consider allowing the North/South traffic light tim8ngs be reconsidered, 22 secs is not long enough.
