Contractor not using Chapter 8 vehicles to enter/exit/park in roadworks

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4618857.

Safety observation of contractor undertaking works on Saturday 27th May had a lane closure in along New Chester Road, northbound inside lane from junction with B5133 along New Chester Road.

Contractor was using non-chapter 8 vehicle for the works. The vehicle was a black estate car with the company logo on the doors but no reflective markings on side or rear of vehicle, no amber beacon and not marked "Highway Maintenance".
