A very deep pothole on M3 carriageway

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4618190.

I hit this pothole at motorway speed very shortly after where the A316 joins the M3 travelling south towards the M25. I do not know if this pothole is new or not. I am going to take my car to assess if there has been any damage.
