No sign to cancel the 40MPH speed restriction after lane closure

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 07:11, Thu 1 June 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4617614.

2330 - 31/5/23 : I was having a very stressful drive last night, Eastbound on M4, as I had a sudden colitis attack while driving - this situation and stress was exacerabted by the fact that after the coned-off lanes had come to an end, near the M25 junctionthere was no sign to adjust the speed limit from the imposed 40mph back to the national limit, or any other speed greater than 40mph - it then became dangerous to travel at that speed as most other drivers assumed that the restriction was lifted and were at full speed
