Hedge requires cutting

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 21:39, Wed 31 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4617178.

The hedge and vegetation bordering Darnel way has historically been maintained by highways as it originates from slip road vegetation. It’s not been attended to for quite awhile and is now overgrown and affecting properties and access.

Updates

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the overgrown vegetation on the A12 slip road at the A1124 interchange. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. We carry out regular inspections of our roads and cut back trees and vegetation where we find that it’s limiting visibility of road signs, traffic signals, at junctions or the view ahead. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team. They will inspect the area and if necessary, arrange for the vegetation to be cut.

    Kind regards
