Lane closure camera catching people incorrectly

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 23:38, Tue 30 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4613048.

Three lanes are closed, but your cameras which are catching people driving through the closed lanes are operating too early. Temporary yellow signs just before the camera say 400yards until the lane closure, so your cameras are catching people driving in a lane which is open for another 400yards. This is highly unfair for cars which are struggling to merge, particularly given the large number of vehicles trying to get into just one lane. Either the temporary signs giving false information or the camera is operating incorrectly.
