Overgrown grass

The grass on the edge of the A17 next to Dankton Lane is completely overgrown and offers no visibilty for cars joining the A27. This is a seroius issue that may cause an accident as joining cars cannot see oncoming traffic.

  • Thank you for your report concerning overgrown vegetation obscuring sightlines at the Dankton Lane junction with the A27.

    Our inspector has reviewed today as part of their safety inspection along this stretch of the A27 and has raised an order for vegetation maintenance to be carried out as a priority.
