Overgrown verge making turning very dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 17:52, Sun 28 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4605301.

The verge is overgrown and turning from the A46 to Potter Hill Road into Collingham is extremely dangerous. Even in a 4x4 this is still causing visibility issues where cars need to cross over the dual carriage way.

Updates

  • This is even more dangerous today. The visibility is extremely poor now. This is a busy road with cars travelling fast along the A46 into Lincoln. Cars crossing into Collingham need to be able to see clearly. There have been fatalities at this junction in the past and there could be again if the simple issue of the vegetation on the verge is not sorted

    State changed to: Fixed
