Uneven recent resurfacing on the southbound M11 close to junction 6 (M25)

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 02:37, Fri 26 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4598080.

The recent resurfacing of the M11 southbound (close and after junction 6) has not been completed to the required standard. The inside lane is terribly uneven resulting in unnecessary vibrations. The resurfacing was long overdue to repair the numerous potholes that had developed on that section of the motorway, but it is unfortunate that the work carried out has been shoddy.

Can you please let us know if QA checks were performed on this resurfacing work, and how was this not flagged during the assessment?

Also, please inform us of how, and when, will this issue be resolved.

Thanks.
