Birds caught in bird netting

At LCC Highways we have received a complaint detailed below: Nature of the problem: Bridge or highway wall Additional Information: under the bridges there are metal/string netting and it appears that they have caught some birds that are struggling Location Information: its the tingley roundabout under the bridges

  • Thank you for contacting us via FixMyStreet on 23 May 2023 to report concerns for birds in the netting under the bridges at Tingley roundabout. We appreciate the time you've taken to get in touch with us.

    Our Control Centre have confirmed patrols have assessed the location, and no birds are in the netting. However, are working with the contractors to ensure there isn't any other access for the birds to get in.
