No speed limit signs displayed joining M3 Roadworks

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4575787.

The last few times I have joined the M3 at this junction to head ti work at Heathrow there has been roadworks and filtered down to 1 lane. There is no speed limit posted and I have driven at approximately 50mph. At the end of the roadwork the electric signs overhead display a return to national speed limit. It’s very disconcerting at 3am to be driving along a very empty road not knowing if I’m breaking any temporary speed limits.
