Giant hogweed

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 14:36, Fri 19 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4574226.

Invasive giant hogweed is coming through here. It has been present for at least 2 years with the dead stems from previous years still being visible. The size of the stand indicates it has never been treated or hasn't been treated for multiple years. It is vital to control this due to its proximity to a water course.

This is the ideal time of year to control it before it seeds to prevent further spread of the plant.
