Large & long pot hole on inside lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4565450.

There is a long pothole 5m+ and probably 2inches deep on the inside lane of the A2. the position is where your wheels would usually go on a lane, meaning that drivers are having to swerve to come off it

Updates

  • There is a large (3M+) pothole in Lane 3 of the London bound carriageway of the A2 shortly after the junction with the M25. This pothole represents a danger to motorcyclists as it is capable of holding standing water and in addition the length and width mean it can trap the wheels affecting steering and reducing stability. There is limited opportunity for avoidance in heavy traffic.
