Dead tree tilting over road

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 16:40, Tue 9 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4533149.

This tree is dead and uprooted in the field. It's currently leaning on another, which is what's holding it up, but is getting increasingly lower - branches keep getting knocked off it into the road.

  • Hi, still nobody has out to look at this tree, we are concerned it will cause an accident. It's uprooted from the field side and completely dead, it's only supported as it's leaning on the hawthorn.

  • This tree remains an issue, and could potentially fall onto the A36. The tree is dead, branches regularly fall off it onto the road, and it is completely uprooted. It is only held up as it is leaning on an adjacent tree.
