Cameras wrongly flashing repartedly

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 07:24, Sat 6 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4522728.

There are cameras near Junction 11 flashing cars doing the limit they are told to. I had noticed three speed camera flashes in front of me before I had approached the camera. In that time I had slowed down and maintained the correct speed but the camera had still flashed my way. Whether this is because of the variable speed limit problem I have seen noted or other, this needs to be fixed. One instance was doing 40mph when instructed to do so - I had slightly increased my speed as a large van was swerving into my lane and at most had reached 43mph yet was still flashed, and another instance was when doing 70mph when told the variable speed limit had ended. On both instances I was flashed as well as multiple other cars. Please fix this.
