Two major potholes back to back in between lanes

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 11:24, Thu 4 May 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4516100.

Although there there are a significant number of serious potholes on the A1M stretch between junction 7 and 8 north bound both in the running carriageway and along the verge and central white line marking area, there are two major potholes between the lanes approximately in the marked location. These are deep enough to cause suspension damage and wheel damage and can also lead to other drivers being put at risk trying to avoid them.

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team who will promptly investigate your report. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly.
