Road surface and potholes on section of road, past traffic lights where lanes merge heading towards Jct 10 M20

Due to the poor road surface with potholes, this is causing noise and vibration to our home. This has been like this since late 2022, and is getting worse.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report concerning the potholes on the on slip. We’re aware of this issue and looking at carrying out works in the area as part of an upcoming resurfacing scheme. In the meantime, our inspectors are reviewing this weekly during their safety inspections where any safety defects are raised for urgent mitigation. Temporary hard signage has been installed to inform road users of the uneven surface. Kind regards National Highways
