Pothole inside lane just before M11 Jct 7a on slip northbound

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4498511.

Location M11 Northbound Jct 7a. Pothole on inside lane near the hard shoulder marking line approx 30m before the on slip. Causes sever damage to wheels, tyres, suspension and steering components. This happened to me.

Updates

  • This has affected me too - caused a bulge in the tyre and had to get it replaced as soon as I got to my destination. Not a great start to a bank holiday away with family!

    Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
