Long, deep potholes at Junction, seven of the M25, coming off the slip road from the M23 onto the M25 in a clockwise direction

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 23:01, Thu 27 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4494741.

When pulling off the slip road from the M23 onto the M25, there are a number of deep elongated potholes., which due to the traffic flow on the motorway it was impossible for me to avoid.

The pothole caused a blow-out of my tyre and I was forced to take immediate action to pull into the lay-by. This dangerous road surface not only cause damage to my tyre and wheel, but nearly caused a serious road accident. I noticed on this site that this has been reported nearly a month ago and nothing has been done. I would highlight this could cause a severe accident if not repaired urgently.

Updates

  • This pothole is extremely bad, running almost the full length of the white line between the right hand lane of the slip and the M25. It could result in a fatality if a motor cyclist hit it. Drivers and riders are concentrating on the traffic they are joining. I hit it on 6th May around
