Inefficient traffic lights regulation on the roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 11:32, Thu 27 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4492290.

With Botley Road closed till October in Oxford, there is an extremely heavy traffic on A34 in rush hours. The roundabout A34 / Eastern By Pass Rd / Hinksey Hill requires man regulation/ intervention (not traffic lights regulation) in the morning rush hours, as the traffic lights can't prevent extremely heavy traffic from A34 to Eastern By Pass Rd completely blocking this roundabout for all vehicles moving in other directions. We need somebody there during the rush hours to prevent this complete standstill and allow easy traffic flow from Eastern By Pass Rd to Hinksey Hill and A34 North as these roads are empty. Thank you.
