Updates

  • Thank you for your email of 26 April 2023 about a pot hole on the A19 next to the Killingworth turn off towards Cramlington. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and appreciate you taking the time to contact us about the issue.

We were not aware of this specific pothole but we can confirm there have been numerous potholes filled northbound on the A19 this week and there is a reactive scheme next week to carry out patching so hopefully this will be picked up then. There is a resurfacing scheme later this summer in this location to permanently repair this section.

Thank you again for contacting us about this matter. We hope that our response has satisfactorily answered your query. If there’s anything else, we can help you with please contact our customer contact centre. They’re available 24 hours a day by phone 0300 123 5000 or by email at info@nationalhighways.co.uk.

    Kind regards
