Entry slip road goes directly into live lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4468545.

There are roadworks entering the M18 at this junction towards the A1M, with the M18 and slip down to one lane - the slip road puts traffic directly into the live lane of traffic with no merge, and no signs indicating that that is what happens. There were nearly two accidents with cars getting to the end of the slip and having to stop because of oncoming cars, and then unable to get back up to speed to join the carriageway safely.
